Airbus to Hold Webinars on Their Quantum Computing Challenge Problem Statements

In order to encourage quantum researchers to think about how they can use quantum computing to solve real world problems, Airbus has created a Quantum Computing Challenge competition and ask for researchers to submit proposals on how they might use a quantum computer to solve these problems. They have created five specific challenges related to aircraft design and operations and will be holding webinars to have the Airbus experts describe the problems in more detail. The schedule for the webinars is as follows:

1. PS1 - Aircraft Climb Optimization - Friday 19 July (15:00-16:00 CEST)

2. PS2 - Computational Fluid Dynamics - Thursday 18 July (11:00-12:00 CEST)

3. PS3 - Quantum Neural Networks for Solving Partial Differential Equations - Thursday 18 July (14:00-15:00 CEST)

4. PS4 - Wingbox Design Optimisation - Wednesday 17 July (15:00-16:00 CEST)

5. PS5 - Aircraft Loading Optimisation - Wednesday 17 July (10:00-11:00 CEST)

Note: CEST stands for Central European Summer Time which is 6 hours ahead of the time in New York.
