Aliro Quantum Chosen as the Controller for the EPB Quantum Network

We reported last December on how utility company EPB was setting up a commercial quantum network in the Chattanooga, Tennessee metropolitan area using quantum communication equipment provided by Qubitekk and others. The EPQ Quantum Network will be made available to government, industrial, academia, and others who wish to experiment with utilizing quantum communications for various applications. EPB has now chosen Aliro Quantum's AliroNet™ software to provide the quantum network control capabilities. The software provides a network operator’s interface, to allow EPB operators to manage and monitor the physical quantum network infrastructure and enable end-users to define, validate, schedule, run and control EPB Quantum Network services. The software will also will be responsible for managing and scheduling access to the pooled quantum hardware resources, routing traffic across the quantum network, and executing the end-user service workflows.
