Bleximo to Expand R&D Operations to the Albany Nanotech Complex in New York State

Bleximo, a superconducting quantum hardware startup developing application specific quantum processors located in Berkeley, California will be expanding its R&D operations to include a new group at the Albany Nanotech Complex in upstate New York. The company also announced it will partner with NY CREATES, a non-profit that operates an advanced publicly-owned semiconductor research center. Facilities at the Nanotech Complex are used by several commercial companies including IBM, Tokyo Electron and others because they allow companies to prototype semiconductor processes using the most advanced tools. Previously, Bleximo had been using share university clean rooms for its processing that contain older manufacturing tools. By moving their chip processing to the Nanotech Complex, the company will be able to achieve more precision, higher reliability, and better yield. NY CREATES will also be able to use Bleximo's Rubicon platform for testing new developments and processes. More information about this partnership is available in a press release posted on the NY CREATES website here.
