Cisco Systems to Open a Quantum Research Lab in Santa Monica, California

The new Cisco Quantum Lab, part of the Cisco Research group will research in quantum technologies, optics, and photonics as part of their Emerging Tech and Incubation (ET&I) initiatives. The researchers at this facility will collaborate with universities on joint quantum research projects and also collaborate with Cisco's business units as various projects move from a research to a product development and commercialization phase.
