Classiq is launching its Classiq Academia program targeting for educational institutes providing courses or doing research on quantum programming. This program is currently free-of-charge and is intended to make it easier for researchers and students to start programming quantum computers at a higher level rather than at the low quantum assembly level so that they can focus on the application development. Once a program has been designed it can be submitted to Microsoft's Azure Quantum system for using the Azure Quantum Resource Estimation Service, simulating the program, or running it on quantum hardware. The program is currently free, but you must have an academic email domain address to register and have a priority position on the waiting list. More information about this program and the collaboration between Microsoft and Classiq is available in a blog posted on Microsoft's website here and a page on Classiq's website that describes the Classiq Academia program here.
