Quantinuum and Mitsui Partner to Expand Quantum Computing Usage in the Japan and Asia-Pacific Mar...

Seeking to expand its business in Asia, Quantinuum has signed an agreement with Mitsui to help develop the market as well as collaborate on potential applications for quantum computing in Japan and the Asia-Pacific. The Mitsui Group is one of the largest keiretsu in Japan with FY2022 revenue of $96.4 billion USD, offices in 63 countries and regions, and over 44,000 employees on a consolidated basis. Mitsui will help promote Quantinuum's offerings to external customer as well as potentially use quantum technology internally within their 16 business units. Product areas this partnership will focus on include computational chemistry, quantum cybersecurity, optimization applications, and quantum natural language processing and artificial intelligence.
