As part of its efforts to create a thriving quantum industry in The Netherlands, Quantum Delta NL has create a new fund called the QDNL Participation Fund. Its goal will be to provide early funding to companies working to commercialize quantum research at Dutch universities including TU Delft; Eindhoven University of Technology; Leiden University; the University of Twente, and the University of Amsterdam. A typical investment for a new startup would be about €1.5 million. In addition, funding in the form of a convertible SAFE note of €50,000 will be available to research teams even before they have incorporated to get them going. Quantum Delta NL also offers a free service called Infinity that will advise university researchers on the process of spinning-out from the university and how to raise an initial seed funding round. For additional information, you can view a news release from Quantum Delta NL announcing the program here and also a website for the QDNL Partipation Fund with additional details about the program here.
