U.S. Department of Energy Announces $9.1 Million in Funding for 13 Projects in Quantum Informatio...

The projects include development of next generation materials and architectures for superconducting qubits, solid state quantum simulators, quantum sensors, quantum optomechanical sensors for improving measurements of optical decay, and others. The projects can have a duration of up to three years and were selected through a competitive DOE Funding Opportunity Announcement titled Quantum Horizons: QIS Research and Innovation for Nuclear Science.
