Who's News: Management Changes at QC Ware and Quix Quantum

Joseph Stamper has joined QC Ware as Director of Marketing where he will drive marketing efforts and bring the benefits of quantum computing to a wider audience. Previously, he spent over 5 years working for Microsoft, most recently as the US Azure AI Go-to-Market Lead. QC Ware is a quantum software and services company focused on ensuring enterprises are prepared for the emerging quantum computing disruption. The company specializes in the development of applications for near-term quantum computing hardware with a team composed of experts in quantum computing. Quix Quantum has appointed Andrew Wallace as Chairman of their Supervisory Board. QuiX Quantum is a provider of quantum computing hardware based on photonics and located on the campus of the University of Twente in The Netherlands. Mr. Wallace has over 35 years of experience in the enterprise IT, telecoms, electronics, and photonics industries and most recently was the CEO of Pyreos Ltd. which was sold to Broadcom in 2022. He will help leverage his experience in tech startups, technical expertise, and sales expertise to help guide Quix through their scale-up phase. Quix Quantum also announced that Dr. Devin Smith has been named Chief Technology Officer and that former CTO, Dr. Jelmer Renema, has been named Chief Scientist. Dr. Smith was previously Senior Quantum Engineer at Quix and leading the Quantum Science Team and has extensive experience in quantum optics, quantum information processing, and integrated photonics. Dr. Renema was a co-founder of Quix and also serves as a Assistant Professor of Quantum Optics at the University of Twente in the Netherlands. Both gentlemen played a key role in winning the contract a for the company to deliver €14 ($13.57M USD) Million Contract to Deliver a 64 Qubit Photonic Quantum Computer to the German Aerospace Center, which will be an important project for the company over the next several years.
