Who's News: Management Updates at Infleqtion, Quantum Motion, Quantum Brilliance, QuSecure, planq...

Infleqtion has hired Dr. Jim Rabeau as President of Infleqtion Australia. He previously was the Director of Quantum Technologies at Australia's national science agency, CSIRO. He will oversee the company's expansion in Australia and the establishment of the Quantum Technology Centre, a partnership between Infleqtion and Swinburne University that was funded with A$29 Million ($18.2M USD) in grants from Breakthrough Australia. Quantum Motion has named Dr. Anna Stockklauser as VP of Product. She joins Quantum Motion from Rigetti Company where most recently she was the Director of Product Strategy. She will be responsible for the direction of Quantum Motion’s product development. Quantum Motion's press release announcing her appointment is available here.

Quantum Brilliance has promoted Dr. Mark Mattingley-Scott to the position of Chief Revenue Officer. He joined the company in 2021 as the General Manager for EMEA and before that he spent over 31 yeas at IBM with his last position there as an IBM Q Ambassador Leader for EMEA and Asia Pacific.

QuSecure has added Lisa Hammitt to its Board of Directors. She has been serving on the Boards of several enterprises including Auterion GS, Intelsat, Clear Channel Outdoor, and Glassbox. Before that she held a number of senior executive positions at companies including Visa, IBM, Salesforce.com, Hewlett-Packard and others. planqc has also added Dr. Hermann Hauser to its Board of Directors. He is a co-founder and Director at Amadeus Capital Partners which he help start in 1997. Dr. Hauser has a long and successful track record in helping to set up and invest in deep tech startups including Acorn Computers and Arm, among others. And finally, Quantum Exponential, a venture capital group focused on investments in quantum technology, announced that Stuart Woods will be joining them as Chief Operating and Strategy Officer, effective April 1, 2023. Mr. Woods has been the managing director of Oxford Instruments NanoScience where had worked closely with many quantum companies that used Oxford Instruments' cryogenic devices. Prior to Oxford Instruments, he has over 30 years of experience working at a variety of deep tech companies located in both the U.S. and the UK.
