At GQI we have been following the Quantum Computing Hardware market since 2015 and observe strong growth on both the technical and as well as the business side. We believe that to date QC Hardware is approaching the ability to deliver true business advantage in highly specific and narrowly scoped scenarios, and, most likely, a hybrid delivery mode. Within a couple years we expect this ability to broaden and deepen, assuming software and algorithms also progress accordingly.

This chart lists all known Quantum Computing Hardware vendors. We observe that about 30% of them are from North America, less than 20% from Europe and the remainder from Asia, Russia, Israel and Australia.
